Walks at the National Park
The National Park of Peneda-Gerês was established in 1971 with about 72 000 hectares, offers special interest for science, education and recreation. Albergaria forest, Ramiscal forest e Cabril forest, Leonte gorge and Homem gorge, roman old road and mile post. Calcedónia pathway. Walk to the Carris mines, Pedra Bela, Arado waterfall and Pico da Borrageira.

Thermal station
The thermal water from Gerês were already known to the Romans. D. João V built the first bathing infrastructures in XVII century. The thermal waters are recommended for people suffering from Hypertension, Obesity, Diabetes, Kidney and gall stones, and Rheumatic diseases.
